Knicks make blockbuster deals—that's right TWO major trades

by

Nov 21

The Knicks are officially open for business in 2010. The Knicks have put themselves in GREAT position to grab TWO major NBA stars by dealing Jamal Crawford to the Warriors and Zach Randolph to the Clippers. The players the Knicks acquired come off the books just in time for the James, Bosh, Wade class. As my former broadcaster partner in Toronto, Jack Armstrong would say in his distinctive Brooklyn accent….”HELLO!!!!!!!”

The Knicks are ready to rock the world and don’t think the 2010 free agent class isn’t taking note of what happened today. Book it.

Preview for tonight’s Bulls vs. Warriors game:

Stephen Jackson? Forget about him! Andris Biedrins? No way! Corey Maggette? Please.

The Bulls need to find a way to stop Anthony Morrow. That’s right you heard me, Anthony Morrow!

Morrow, an undrafted 6-5 guard out of Ga. Tech is averaging 17 points including back to back 37/25 gamnes against the Clippers and Blazers respectively. He was impressive in the Summer League so Don Nelson kept him on the roster. It’s paid off. Now, let’s not get too carried away. Two games doesn’t put the guy in the Hall of Fame but it’s a fantastic early season story line to the 08-09 season.

I love Biedrins. Where can the Bulls find some one like that? The bigs need to step up tonight.

The Warriors average 105 points per game and give up 105. The Bulls need to bring energy, passion and intensity tonight. Something they lacked in Portland Wednesday.

Got flooded with emails at cswirsky@bulls.com over the past two days ready to trade everyone except Derrick Rose I feel the frustration of the fans but believe me when I say this, John Paxson is doing his best to analyze, evaluate and focus on making the Bulls better.

Join Bill and I tonight at 9 with pre game coverage 930 with the tip on the Bulls Radio Network. Neil and Stacey on TV on WGN.

Always a pleasure.
