The buzz in the press room was Detroit-Detroit and more Detroit.  Joe Dumars gets to play for a title this year with Iverson then will evaluate where the Pistons are at in the off season of ’09 with Rasheed Wallace and Iverson having expiring contracts. If the Pistons elect NOT to re-sign the two they’ll be 21 million under the cap. Wow!

Joe Dumars  is an excellent GM.   Rip Hamilton gets a 3 year -34 million dollar deal.

According to published reports Hamilton’s extension  is guaranteed the first two years.

I like McDyess and would love to see him with the Bulls but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

How bad are the Bobcats? No Iverson-no McDyess-no Billups and they still couldn’t beat the Pistons. Not good.

Up next for the Bulls is a road game at Cleveland. The Cavs won on the road in Dallas last night 100-81.  The Cavs are 2-2.

The Kings are getting lit up big time.  The 76ers scored 125 points on them  last night. Orlando put 121 on them on Saturday.  I do like Jason Thompson . This kid can play.

I’m tired of the campaigning and I’m tired of reading about Stephon Marbury.
