Trades, scores, news… NBA Love It Live! My best friend: TV clicker

Phoenix fleeced the Bobcats. Not sure who made the deal. Was it Michael Jordan? Rod Higgins? Larry Brown? Whoever pulled the trigger on this deal for Charlotte will probably justify the trade by noting Raja Bell’s toughness and Boris Diaw’s defense. Both players worked well in the SUNS system. Steve Nash made Bell and Diaw better. Not sure Raymond Felton is in that class. Jared Dudley is NOT a throw in. This kid has a great feel for the game and knows how to play positional defense. However, Richardson is a scoring machine and will fit in extremely well with the Suns as Phoenix continues to make major changes with its roster over a year span.

ESPN broke the story less than an hour ago. A three team deal. The much traveled Mike James and Javaris Crittenton are on their way to the guard-depleted Wizards. The often banged up Antonio Daniels is headed to the Hornets and the financially strapped Grizz get a future #1 pick rumored to have been their own that they sent to Washington for Juan Carlos Navarro who played last year in the NBA then announced he was headed back to Spain.

Marc Stein is reporting Gilbert Arenas expected January return to the Washington roster may be on hold. He’s coming off knee surgery

Thoughts? Crittenton has a boat load of potential. Daniels is a solid vet who should help the Hornets. James loves to shoot and shoot and shoot. When he’s in the zone he can toss them in from forty-feet.

Watching a ton of ball on Wednesday night.

I can’t believe what I’m seeing here in Denver with the Nuggets and Minnesota. Melo is blowing up. 33 points in the third quarter… 33 ladies and gentlemen. An NBA record. Denver over the T-Wolves. That was awesome.

If you can’t score at least 100 points against the Warriors you’ve got issues. Milwaukee lost on the road 119-96.

Lakers beat the Suns without J-Rich

Congrats to Jay Triano as he bags his first win as a head coach in the NBA leading the Raps past a struggling Indiana team. The Pacers are brutal.

No stopping the Cavs. 19-3 after a road win in Philly. Mo Williams with 27 off the bench. Elton Brand: 3 for 11 FG and ZERO free throws.

Flip Murray is going bananas in the fourth quarter for the Hawks… Atlanta hanging in. 89-85 Spurs with 32 seconds left… I’ll stay on top of this one. Manu is taking over this game. Good game… great break for the Bulls. Keep those Eastern Conference losses coming!

My Ohio University Bobcats got ripped by Xavier… not good. Where’s Walter Luckett when we need him?

Damien Wilkens… wow he’s in the league? Yes, with OKC. No wonder I lost track of him. Have I mentioned I’m not in to the Thunder logo, colors or uniforms? I thought so. I do like there players. Solid. If the Bulls had Marc Gasol… keep dreaming Hakim Warrick is having a terrific stretch of games for Memphis. The Grizz rallied on the road and beat OKC. Friday’s game is not going to be an easy one for the Bulls.

As expected an undermanned Bobcats team lost to the Hornets. If anyone wants Aam Morrison he’s certainly available.

ESPN is reporting Knicks guard Cutino Mobley will announce his retirement due to a heart condition.

The Nets scored 109 points and lost by 12 to the Knicks. Wilson Chandler was rock solid for NY.

Will the Yankees land A.J. Burnett? I saw him pitch a lot of ball in Toronto and when he’s healthy (buyer beware) he throws some nasty stuff. Totally against a five year contract for a pitcher but the Yankees have so much cash they don’t care. The Yankees outbid themselves for CC Sabathia. Let’s not kid anyone.

I like the Bears tonight. In fact I like the Bears to win the NFC North.
