Bulls go back to work; Rockets, Hornets, Mavs up next

by

Sunday was a day to relax and kick back as head coach Vinny Del Negro was gracious in opening his home and the team enjoyed watching a thrilling Super Bowl game together. Yes, Del Negro was on the winning side. A good day to get away from the stress of NBA ball for a day.

The Bulls will return to the practice floor Monday then leave later in the afternoon for Houston as the Bulls will take on Yao Ming and the Rockets Tuesday night.

Elsewhere in the NBA… Boston won its eleventh straight beating Minnesota. KG sat this one out with the flu but Paul Pierce stepped up and had 36.

The Cavs topped the Pistons by ten. Detroit dropped its fourth straight home game for the first time in eight seasons.

The Kings topped the Thunder in a wild one 122-118 in OT. Kevin Martin had 37 points on his 26th birthday.

The Raps dropped to 19-30… I still don’t believe it. Orlando buried the Raps in Toronto.

More later.

Always a pleasure. Drop me a line at cswirsky@bulls.com
