Bulls earn playoff berth as Bobcats fall in OKC.

The Bulls are going back to the playoffs.  After winning just 33 games a season ago, the Bulls behind rookie sensation Derrick Rose and an infusion of solid veteran play from Brad Miller and John Salmons, the Bulls will be enjoying the benefits of post season hoops.

The Bobcats lost Friday night in Oklahoma City  eliminating the Bobcats  and now it’s only a question of seeding for the Bulls who currently are tied with Detroit for the 7th seed.  They trail Philly by only one game for the 6th spot.

Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah and the rest of the Bulls will get the Bobcats Saturday night.  The Bulls are playing for a higher seed..the Bobcats?   The crowds at the United Center have been terrific so tomorrow night it should be rocking again as the playoff bound Bulls winners of 8 out of their last 11—-6 straight at home and 13 of 14 at the UC take on Gerald Wallace and the Bobcats.

Always a pleasure. Congratulations to the fans who have saw this team mature from the start of the season in large part because of John Paxson’s mid season deal with the Kings.
