Off to the UC in a few. Bulls are banged up but should be good to go. John Salmons (groin) will work out before the game and we’ll know more before tip but hopefully the break (he hasn’t played since Sunday in Toronto) will do him good.

Bulls play five of their final six at home and are red hot since the All Star break winning 10 of 11 games. The fans have been great. Flat out great. By the way, it was a pleasure meeting so many supportive Bulls fans at the FestaBulls evening at the United Center on Thursday.

Bulls got some help from Miami last night. The Heat won a thriller over the Bobcats. Bulls up by two games for the eighth and final spot and still have an opportunity to overtake Detroit. The Pistons announced Allen Iverson (back) is done for the year. Hmmmmm. OK, I’ll accept their reasoning… I think.

Final 4… who do you like? I liked U-Conn but now that MSU is playing in front of 70-thousand at Ford Field… thinking maybe the Spartans will reach the championship game. Can Nova beat Carolina? Inquiring minds want to know!
