Good news for the Bulls. Very good news. After two difficult losses at Toronto and Indiana the Bulls were idle on Wednesday but received a boost when the Bobcats, Pistons and Bucks all lost on the same evening.
Charlotte trails the eighth seed Bulls by 1 1/2 games after losing in double overtime at Boston. A crushing defeat for the Bobcats as Ray Allen nailed a three with two seconds left as the Celtics jumped past Orlando for the second seed in the East.

The Bucks… forget about them they’re toast. Lakers win in Milwaukee. Without Bogut and Redd it’s been tough, very tough.
Bulls go back to work at the Berto Center Thursday. Always a pleasure. cswirsky@bulls.com
