The NBA sent me to JINAN, one of 8 cities on the program schedule in CHINA, for my first sneak preview of the NBA CHINA” Dance Passion” Reality Show. Wow, a jam packed schedule undertaking, appearances, autograph signing, media exposure, enthusiastic fans, and meeting and hanging out with RICHARD HAMILTON was more than I had anticipated.

While there, I was given a personalized tour of the brand new Tsingtao Beer Factory.

How exciting!! From start to finish, I saw how Tsingtao beer is manufactured, bottled, and shipped off. A highlight of the day was at the end of the tour when I was presented with my very own Tsingtao Beer Bottle with my face on the label. It was created from a snapshot taken as I exited the bus. All I can say is, you never know when the paparazzi are present!! Hahaha

NBA staff truly made my exposure in JINAN unforgettable. I was given celebrity treatment at all times. We even had to close all the windows on the bus as we approached the outside venue for an appearance because the crowds were so enormous. The police barricaded the path while we exited the bus.

The true excitement came after meeting some of the contestants. It is so amazing to see the passion in their eyes and the enthusiasm they have for being apart of this show. It is thrilling to bring the exhilaration of the NBA to these girls.

Now it was time to get back to the STATES to fulfill previous commitments including a Chicago Magazine Charity Appearance for Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the release of my feature in the Chicago Magazine July Issue standing up for my special friends Jennifer & Shawn who were married June 20, and YES lots of PACKING! What do you pack when you move to China?? Decisions, Decisions!!
