Taj Gibson gets his seventh start of the season Sunday against the Lakers with Carlos Boozer sitting out what he hopes is one more game with a calf injury.

“Hopefully Tuesday,” Boozer said before Sunday’s game about a projected return. “It’s gotten a lot better; still a little tug in my calf, but its gotten a lot better.

“Getting warmed up (for the Golden State game), getting ready for the game and I felt a pop in my calf,” Boozer said. “I tried to go out and do a layup, but I couldn’t jump off it. Just needed a day to recover. They just think it needs a little bit of rest.

“We have a lot of season left,” Boozer said about staying out another game. “I don’t want to rush it and come back and get hurt even worse. We’ll heal it, get it right and get ready for the rest of the way.”
