It’s John Lucas III at point guard Wednesday for the Bulls with Derrick Rose missing just the seventh game of his career with a sprained toe from Tuesday’s game in Minnesota.

Phoenix fleeced the Bobcats. Not sure who made the deal. Was it Michael Jordan? Rod Higgins? Larry Brown? Whoever pulled the trigger on this deal for Charlotte will probably justify the trade by noting Raja Bell’s toughness and Boris Diaw’s defense. Both players worked well in the SUNS system.
