Game 1 for Bulls-Pacers on Saturday at noon

The first-round, best of seven series between the Eastern Conference’s top-seeded Chicago Bulls and eighth-seeded Indiana Pacers will get underway this Saturday, April 16 at the United Center with tipoff at 12 p.m. CDT.

Game 1 will air live on ESPN, ESPN3D, and Comcast SportsNet Chicago, with Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen set to join CSN’s game announcing tandem of Neil Funk and Stacey King as an additional game analyst for every playoff game that airs on the network. ESPN 1000 AM will carry all of the Bulls’ playoff games.

Chicago’s schedule for the First Round of the 2011 NBA Playoffs, which is subject to change, is as follows:

Game 1, Saturday April 16
Pacers at Bulls, 12 p.m. CDT (ESPN & CSN | ESPN 1000 AM)

Game 2, Monday April 18
Pacers at Bulls, 8:30 p.m. CDT (TNT & CSN | ESPN 1000 AM)

Game 3, Thursday April 21
Bulls at Pacers, 6:00 p.m. CDT (CSN & NBA-TV | ESPN 1000 AM)

Game 4, Saturday April 23
Bulls at Pacers, 1:30 p.m. CDT (TNT & CSN | ESPN 1000 AM)

Game 5, Tuesday April 26
* Pacers at Bulls, TBD, if necessary (CSN – TBD for the national telecast | ESPN 1000 AM)

Game 6, Thursday April 28
* Bulls at Pacers, TBD, if necessary (CSN – TBD for the national telecast | ESPN 1000 AM)

Bulls tickets for the 2011 NBA Playoffs, Rounds 1 and 2 (eight possible games), are on sale now at Bulls.com/tickets, 1.800.4NBA.TIX, the United Center and Ticketmaster.

While supplies last, fans entering the arena for Saturday’s game will receive red rally towels courtesy of McDonald’s Owner Operators of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. At Monday’s home game, fans will also receive red rally towels courtesy of Harris Bank and Vienna Beef.

Fans are encouraged to show their support for the team’s playoff run by wearing red to all home playoff games.
